Manchester United fullback Fábio da Silva (21) will leave the Red Devils on loan next season. This was confirmed by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. The Brazilian only managed one Premier League appearance this season, a 5-0 win over Wolves in March.

Bolton defender Paul Robinson (33) has extended his Leeds United loan until the end of the season. The fullback, who had joined on an inital one-month loan in March, has so far made seven appearanced for the Elland Road side.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has recalled winger Alex Kacaniklic (20), from his loan stint at Championship side Watford. The Swede, who shone during his time at Vicarage Road, scored one goal and provided six assists in 12 matches for the Hornets.

Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam (26) is set to miss the rest of the season due to a knee problem. The Scot, who joined the club from Blackpool before the start of the season, injured himself during Liverpool's 2-3 defeat against QPR on 21 March.

Fulham striker Lauri Dalla Valle (20) has joined League One side Exeter City on an emergency one-month loan deal. The Finnish U21-international returned from a loan stint at Scottish outfit Dundee United earlier this year.

Premiership bottom side Wigan Athletic have signed Birmingham winger Jean Beausejour (27) on a two-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee. The Chilean had joined Birmingham in the summer of 2010 from mexican outfit Club América.

Reading winger Jimmy Kebe (28) has signed a new contract with the Berkshire outfit which will see the talented midfielder remain at Madejski Stadium until the summer of 2014. Malian Kebe joined Reading from french outfit Lens in 2008.

Former Chelsea defender Jeffrey Ntuka (26) has been stabbed to death in the early hours of Saturday morning in a local nightclub in the township of Kroonstad in the Free State province. Ntuka played for Chelsea's youth teams between 2003 and 2009.

Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer (39) has extended his contract until the summer of 2013. The veteran Australian stopper signed for the Cottagers after nearly eleven years at Middlesbrough. Schwarzer had short stints in Germany and Brentford before.
