Wolverhampton Wanderers chief executive Jez Moxey insists there has been no approach by Stoke City for relegated Wolves' star player Matthew Jarvis, 26. "They have not even spoken to us about him," Moxey told Express & Star.

Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy, 25, has signed a new four-year deal with Norfolk club Norwich City which will see him remain at Carrow Road until the summer of 2016. The giant Englishman impressed during his first full Premier League season last term.

Captain Danny Murphy, 35, has ended a five-year stay at Fulham and subsequently completed his switch to relegated Blackburn Rovers. Murphy, who was signed by Lawrie Sanchez in 2007, played 169 matches in the top flight for the SW6 club.
