For me - possible.
Zabaranyi started playing for the Ukrainian National Team with 18 years old. He debuted in the Champions League at 18 too. And he continued to play high level football throughout his young ages, giving him one asset that many young defenders lack - experience. He has seen it all: Messi, Ronaldo, Wirtz, Haaland.... He was up against them and had to deal with them, which improved and improved, getting him where he is now. He is a world class defender. And I think that he has potential to even go further and become one of the best Centre Backs of our era. He is a star.
At PSG, he hasn't had much game time, due to competition and the lack of options. Luis Enrique is always fine with playing Marquinhos and Pacho as a pair, with Beraldo filling on when needed - and only then there is Zabaranyi. I honestly didn't quite understand why PSG wanted to get Zabaranyi in the first place. He was perfectly fine playing at Bournemouth every game who were constantly rising and maybe would have made European Football if all of their good players stayed (him, Semenyo, Huisen....). He needs the game time. The lack of it has shown in the matches for Ukraine - he isn't as sharp anymore. So a transfer would indeed make a whole lot of sense.
Although Liverpool has plenty of choices, like Van Dijk, Leoni and Jaquet, who came from Rennes, Liverpool also has Irola, who has worked closely with Ilya during his time as the coach of Bournemouth. He knows what Zabaranyi is capable of. I think it Zabaranyi were to arrive, he would get some solid game time (at the start at the very least). Since the Premier League is familiar territory for him die to his years at the Cherries, he will settle in quite quickly I should think. And I think Zabaranyi would also be keen to play under a manager that he knows.
I do not know whether Liverpool will be able to afford him or not, but one thing is for sure - Van Dijk is getting old, and Jaquet and Leoni are both unfamiliar territory for Irola yet. Zabaranyi would fit perfectly for them. Leoni could be a good backup, while Jaquet and Zabaranyi play main if Van Dijk isn't available. The price won't be much lower than Jaquets tho - if PSG are keen on letting Zabaranyi go, then they don't wanna make much of a loss.
So yeah, I'd rate it 40% - it is highly possible (and I'd welcome it) it's just that both sides have to agree well on the financials. Of that's sorted, I think it would be a transfer that is worth it.
