Zitat von Manutd78:
I just never heard about that Kaka rumour. Last winter there have been a lot of speculations about Kaka joining United on loan. Something never happening, but I've never heard about Kaka moving to London.

Yeah I know of the Kaka United speculation from last winter, here's the tweet that is the source of the current Kaka Chelsea speculation, from Kaka's mum Simone Leite, "Next season we will be in London, spreading the word of God. We will be there from August. I tell you," it was later removed, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/8506487/Chelsea-alert-as-Kakas-mother-tweets-London-move.html.

Zitat von Manutd78:
According to some newspapers in Germany highly rated midfield talent Ekici will join Werder Bremen in summer after being loan to Nuernberg this season. Alaba could leave for a permanent deal to Hoffenheim...This may mean some other exits like Toni Kroos. At his Leverkusen time Jupp Heynckes, his coach, developed him further than just being a "highly rated talent". Could be a reason to stay...

That will be interesting, Kroos, Ekici and Alaba were very much touted as the future of Bayern not that long ago, they are really seeking to break with all th vestiges of the van Gaal era, (despite what he delivered last season). Kroos has been previously linked with both Chelsea and Man U, but he seems to have been off both clubs radar's now for a while, perhaps the Bayern clean out could reignite interest. Also just had a look at some of Bayern's targets, and there are a few I could see fitting in very nicely at Chelsea, Takashi Usami, Japan's young player of the year (another Ryo Myaichi or Shinji Kagawa by all accounts), Sao Paulo star Lucas (also a Chelsea target), young Argentine Star Erik Lamela, Renato Augusto, Fabio Coentrao and both Toulouse DM's, Etienne Capoue and Moussa Sissoko (this is not all of the players recently linked with Bayern, but the ones I would like Chelsea to consider). I'm also interested in the highly rated Christian Derflinger, who has been linked with a move to Man City.

Now to Chelsea transfer considerations, Anderlecht's young Belgian star Dennis Praet has apparently joined the Lukaku brothers as targets for Chelsea. We are also in the hunt for Barcelona academy player Hector Bellerin, and in competition for him with Aston Villa, Arsenal and Man U. Finally there are again promising reports linking us with Hulk, Miralem Pjanic and also Lyon's Michel Bastos (not too sure about that last one, considering the abundance of talent we already have on the left, but if Zhirkov and Malouda both left... Bastos/Vargas and Mata/Willan would make good replacements).

An interesting day today, particularly as it seems there may be some fallout from Neymar's announcement that he is to become a father, I don;t think this will affect his move to London, but it may create a few new hurdles (visas for the mother etc.). Interest continues to be strong in both Mata and Kaka, however there are apparent concerns surrounding Romelu Lukaku's agent, who is apparently shopping Lukaku around various clubs. Reports also indicate that Cavani's price will be in the order of 45 million, making him more expensive than Aguero or Pato (probably).

Today I'm going to consider the wealth of talent in La Liga that Chelsea should be considering, particularly, given our recent interest the Catalan nursery, at Barcelona. The likes of Thiago and Rafa Alcantara, Sergi Roberto, Oriol Romeu, Gerard Deulofeu and Hector Bellerin have already been well documented as the next big players coming off the Catalan production line, and have all been linked with moves to Chelsea, at one time or another. A few others that Chelsea should consider are the 'next Gerard Pique', Marc Muniesa, the 'next Dani Alves', Albert Dalmau and the 'next Carlos Puyol', Andreu Fontàs. There are a number of other young Spanish stars that should be on our radar, the now unwanted by Real Madrid Sergio Canales (and their young striker Pablo Sarabia) and Athletico Madrid's Borja González.

More promising leads today, one to Romelu Lukaku (very promising), one to Wesley Sneijder (also very promising, if its accurate). Further speculation also linking us with Arshavin and of all players Charles N'Zogbia (don't really want Arshavin, but it might happen, don't really want N'Zogbia and I think that's unlikely). Also an interesting link with Mario Gomez, I think it's highly unlikely too, but he's a possible (if highly improbable), alternative to the usual set of Torres partners, Cavani, Pato, Aguero and Hulk.

One final interesting story, that of young Belgian star Radja Nainggolan, a midfielder with Cagliari of Indonesian heritage, Milan, Inter and Real Madrid are all apparently interested in him, could be an interesting consideration and I'm sure he'd do no harm to the merchandising arm in SE Asia.

Zitat von Manutd78:
From what I heard they started negotiations with Vidal, Leverkusen central midfielder, who wants to follow his coach Heynckes to Bayern, even though they made an announcement in press, that they have a gentlemens agreement that Bayern won't buy any Leverkusen player...I heard from a well informed source is, that negotiations are progressing well between Bayern and Vidal and i personally believe the deal is already done, but not announced. So there is no need for Bayern to buy any other central midfielder.

I've heard they are close to a deal for Vidal as well, my understanding was that a 2nd central midfielder may be required if Schweinsteiger ups and leaves, which is not out of the question, Mourinho is a known admirer of Schweinsteiger and if he stays at Realm or moves to Man City or back to Chelsea he'll have the money, from what I understand he's also on Abramovich's watch list (but then so was Ballack, who Mourinho didn't want well he didn't want him when he got hi over 30 and past his best, if that's the only way we can sign Schweinsteiger, I'd rather we didn't sign him). The big 'if' in all of that is whether or not he goes. I'm quite frankly pleased with Vidal going to Bayern it will keep them away from my preference for Chelsea, Moussa Sissoko.

Zitat von Manutd78:
Well, I heard about that, but I think it's just another rumour spread by the Daily Mail. Nothing to pay attention at.

I would agree, but it continues to be talked about, there's probably nothing in it, but now City are in the Champions League it looks like they're going to spend like crazy, so you never know.

Zitat von Manutd78:
Wide circle of players, I've never heard of :D

It would be a help for me telling me something about the abilities of players who are likely unknown for most of the football fans around the world.

They're mostly players from Barcelona B or Barca Juvenil A , Andreu Fontàs played at right back in this week's game against Deportivo, his third game for the senior Barca team but his first start, he's noted as having strong passing and movement, big at 6 foot 1 reminiscent of Gerard Pique. Began life as a defensive midfielder, which probably explains his movement qualities, and comfort with the ball at his feet, He's serving his apprenticeship will be at the feet of Carles Puyol. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/font%C3%A0s/profil/spieler_65237.html

Marc Muniesa is yet to play for the Barca senior side, however he has a 30 million Euro buyout clause in his Barca B contract, he usually plays as a left back, or in the left half of the central defense, he's also noted for his turn of speed and ball control in defence. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/marc-muniesa/profil/spieler_74228.html

Albert Dalmau, is a Spanish youth international right back and will start next year with Barcelona B having come through Barca Juvenil A. Fast, and well complimented with a deft first touch, noted for his willingness to surge forward (hence comparisons to Dani Alves). http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/albert-dalmau/profil/spieler_85309.html

Pablo Sarabia, is described by Real Madrid as a winger and penalty specialist but he seems to play for Real Madrid Castilla as primarily at striker. He has played one senior game for Real Madrid this season, against Auxerre in the Champions League. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/pablo-sarabia/profil/spieler_74230.html

Sergio Canales was the next big thing last year and we almost signed him before Real Madrid snapped him up, he is frustrated by the lack of opportunities at the Santiago Bernabau and now wants out. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/sergio-canales/profil/spieler_66106.html

Borja Gonzalez is by all accounts the next Sergio Canales (before his move to RM), he's apparently that good. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/borja-gonzalez/profil/spieler_85324.html

Zitat von manutd78:
So Torres, Malouda, Essien, Luiz, Ivanovic, Alex, Anelka and McEachran will sit on the bench next season?
This starting line up is more than unlikely. What is going to happen with all these big name players like out-of-commission-Torres, box-to-box-Essien and goalscoring-Luiz?

While I'd be pleased to see Griezmann and Sissoko in the team, you're right Torres, Essien, Luiz and Ramires all need to be in the starting XI. Also Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, while good and a potential option for Chelsea is not David Luiz good.

Zitat von Manutd78:
So I neither see a way to sign Schweinsteiger, nor Mourinho for Chelsea in summer.

I've heard Griezmann is in talks with Juventus.

Three bits of bad news I didn't need ;). Seriously though, you're probably on the money (unfortunately) on all three, from what I've heard Greizmann will probably go to Juve (though he'll regret it...and I don't just mean that because its not Chelsea, Juve seem in a pretty steep decline). Mourinho will probably odds on stay at Real, primarily because he now feels he has something to prove (though on the bright side it appears we may be moving closer to signing Villa Boas). Schweinsteiger will probably stay at Bayern, though there is a small chance he could go to Real with Khedira going the other way.

Onto some slightly better news, we appear to be edging closer to deals for Willian and Lukaku, and potentially Kaka (who apparently dined with England cricket star Kevin Peterson in London last night). We're competing with Arsenal for Barca youngster Hector Bellerin. There may also be some interest in Fiorentina's young Senegalese striker Khouma Babacar (which considering he's only been OK for Fiorentina seems a bit silly to me).

Some very interesting news about today, there is strong speculation of a Drogba for Modric deal with Tottenham, not really sure I support this, Modric is a fine player, but I believe we need one more season out of Drogba, or at least 6 months until we're sure that Torres will really step up. A deal for Sergio Aguero is also looking increasingly likely, which will be good, though I would have preferred Hulk (who has apparently signed a new deal with Porto effectively pricing him out of our considerations), or Cavani (who again seems to probably be more expensive than Aguero will be on recent reports), but it will still be a good move (if its finally done, we've been after him for ages after all. Still wish it was Hulk or Cavani though :( ).

We've been linked with two Fiorentina rebels, Ricardo Montolivo and Adem Ljajic, unfortunately there's only one we'd want (Ljajic), hopefully Vargas may also enter considerations in coming days. There is also strong speculation we may be back in for Ganso, given the potential issues with the strange nature or the Italian rules for out of continent players that have existed since last year and being able to borrow allocations from other clubs, threatening to scupper potential moves to either Milan or Juve, (good news for us, I would want to maintain the Neymar Ganso partnership if possible).

Finally in an interesting development Didier Deschamps, once considered a front runner for the Man U job after SAF is being considered by Chelsea management (if deals for Villa Boas or Hiddink, the two favored options fall through).

He is a bit slight (and that's a slight understatement), but so is Neymar, personally I'm not that interested in him, all I meant was I'd prefer him to Montolivo who I reckon will end up staying in Italy anyway. Good news for Chelsea out of Madrid, it appears that Mourinho and Ronaldo's relationship is on the rocks (what a surprise, who'd have thought two people with ego's like theirs couldn't work together ;) ), it means one must go and as FloPez would never let his Ronnie go, Mourinho may after all be looking for a new club soon. (sorry Man City, it won't be Ronaldo who goes).

A Croatian source has stated we've signed a pre contract with Ante Vukusic, which seems to be a good idea, he's very promising. Also we may be after Hannover 96's young Bosnian striker Almir Kasumovic again.

Finally some silly speculation that's gone around over the last few days, Diego (a good player but clearly has an attitude problem and Magath wants the trouble maker out, why would we want him then? I say, so that's a no), Jermaine Defoe (can't score at Tottenham, why would we want him, wait...he is English and over 21, that's the only reason I can think of).

Zitat von Manutd78:
Could you please stop eyeing promising Hannover 96 talents?
You already have Alexander Rehberg on trial, enough for this transfer window. That really sucks.
Kasumovic is the most promising talent with Willy Evseev we've got in Youth/Reserves; I just want to keep him in Hannover. Apart from there is still a lot of training to be on before there is a chance to let him play at a professionell level.

Well you do have a few promising youngsters and did very well this season, it can't be a surprise that the big clubs are looking at some of your key players, Alexander Rehberg and Almir Kasumovic will be difficult to keep, (oh and I hadn't heard of Willy Evseev, but we now maybe should have a look at him ;) ).

On to some other speculation, we are apparently going to get ripped off if we try and sign Wigan's James McCarthy, (so lets not do it then I say, he's not 20 million good anyday of the week), Man City have beaten us to Denis Suarez of Celta de Vigo (damn!), we'll have to go for some other young Spaniards (not to worry there are plenty of good ones). We've been linked, somewhat bizarrely with Fabián Andrés Rinaudo of Gimnasia La Plata, he's 24, not all that great with one cap for Argentina under his belt, couldn't understand why we'd sign him (Everton's been linked to him too, seems more their kind of player).

Zitat von Manutd78:
Back to Chelsea I'm wondering about what will be Drogbas next club. Looking very likely to leave he's still a top striker, able to play Champions League on a high level. He's fit and healthy and still such a danger for every goalkeeper and defender, I just think he's way to young to return to Marseille now...

Quite possibly Spurs (if we do move for Bale, VDV or Modric), Real Madrid are also a possibility, as are the Italian clubs in the Champions League (Drogba has always wanted to play in Italy), but Marseilles and LA Galaxy (and possibly the likes of Bunyodkur or another despot owned club in Asia) are not out of the question. I'd like him to stay at least until the summer window next season, just in case Torres doesn't aim up.

Only a few speculations (player wise) anyway, as all the focus will for a while be on the Managerial spot (I'd like the Hiddink Mourinho dream team personally). We are in for the 'next Chicharito' Anglo Mexican striker Antonio Pedroza Whitham, unfortunately so are Arsenal, Man City and oddly Leicester City. We may also compete with Man City (Liverpool and Arsenal as well, but thy won't match the money) for Keisuke Honda.

Heaps of managerial speculation, but I won't really go into that today, so just a few other bits of speculation, Aguero, Lukaku and Gervinho all linked with potential moves to either Chelsea or Man City, (with Gervinho also linked with Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal). Kevin de Bruyne's move to Chelsea may be back on, or not depending upon who you believe (hopefully not, we'd do better to sign Steven Defour...). Looks like Bertrand is out but Drogba may stay. We are also looking at Thibault Courtois, Genk's young star keeper and Juan Manuel Vargas (in competition with RM, Barca, Man City and Liverpool).
